This service is mostly used by asset-based lenders prior to making a loan, but may be paid for by manufacturers and distributors.

Combined with a flooring plan inspection the report documents the location and condition of assets. It may include not only going concern values, but also values related to disposal of the same assets.

The report includes photos, serial number, asset number and general condition observations and location. Moveable assets are inspected as well. It could be vehicles or equipment working at various construction sites.

Some lenders include regular collateral inspections and valuation in the loan documenting.
